Yes, I know; it’s only October. Yes, there’s Halloween and Thanksgiving before Christmas. Honestly, people who think of Christmas, already got everybody’s gifts last year. So puh-leaze.
Anyways, I was bored one day and started looking into Nintendo Switch, priced at USD 299.99 which is kind of expensive for me since there’s not a lot of games that I want to play. So, I looked through amazon and ebay and they price them even higher! Coming back disappointed, I still went through the Switch’s game list; lo and behold Pokken Tournament DX. At first, I thought it would be like the other Pokémon games where the player only has 4 moves and are unable to run or jump around the screen. At some point in time, I went to PurpleRodri‘s channel to look for Pokémon HeartGold walkthrough and then I saw him playing Pokken Tournament DX. Curiously enough, I watched the first full episode and the POKEMONS CAN JUMP AND RUN AND DO COMBOS AND SHIT! So yeah, seeing that episode and doing some budgeting made me think, “I’mma get meself some Nintendo Switch and play some pokemon. Huehue.”
If I actually get… Nay… When I get a Nintendo Switch, other games open up for me too such as: Elder Scrolls V, Fire Emblem Warriors, and Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. Granted these are games that are about USD 60 and I believe the Fire Emblem Warriors is in IOS/Android (free with in-app purchases) and 3DS (USD 39.99). However, the Switch experience doe!
I’m still a bit anxious about buying a game console that is over USD 100 – the Asian in me is telling me to save the money and buy sushi instead. But! I need to enjoy my interests so I’m definitely getting this AFTER Christmas cause of that sale, bro. Maybe get used games too :> The Asian in me is still very strong.
Now, you all know what I’m going to get myself for Christmas. What about you? Are you getting anything for yourself or maybe for your loved one(s)? Please comment down below!
