You know when you’re on days off and you focus on yourself to be content? Well, that’s the state I’m in. I’m content. I wake up, I cook my meals, I eat, and I learn. Sometimes, I’ll mix it up by hanging out with family and/or friends. Despite living in a country where a fast paced lifestyle is the most important thing to leading a more productive and “happy” lifestyle, that’s not always the case. Here’s how I think of it:
Fast pace -> need lots of energy -> tired -> unhappy -> miserable -> self-destruct
It doesn’t matter if we cram ourselves with exercise and healthy eating. There really needs a “me” time; a time just dedicated for us. It doesn’t matter what you’re doing. Jog (for me, I prefer training for the zombie apocalypse), listen to music, read a book, watch a movie (yes, even if it’s at the movie theaters), eat delicious meals (yes, even if it’s at a restaurant), etc. Just spend some time with just us, me, and ourselves.
Until we go to work the next day!
